Virtual Retreat night - Saturday 30th January
SATURDAY 30TH JAN - 6:30 - 8:30PM - Another virtual retreat instalment.
Hello lovely yogi’s, I thought that for January I would bring back the ‘virtual’ retreat night, it’s been a good couple of months since the last event but I thought it was probably the perfect time for an extra relaxing Saturday evening. A moment to retreat inward and gift ourselves the time to rest, restore and recharge. Creating a tone of healing to carry with us into the year ahead.
Through the power of yin and restorative yoga, the magic of your own breath and the help of a beautiful curated playlist you will float through two hours of relaxation. Bringing your nervous system back into balance through the soothing of the mind and the surrender of the body.
The beauty of this being a virtual event is that you are able to create a super cosy space within your own home, tonnes of blankets / pillows / props / hot water bottles / radiators etc etc. No driving to and from a venue, just tuning in from your home to mine!
As usual prices are tiered (just incase you hadn’t had enough of this word cripes!!!) with the hope of being as inclusive as possible. Please pay what you feel you can afford, I want everyone to be free to enjoy this evening regardless of their current circumstances. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Lots and lots of love X R
I’m going to leave you with these two breakdowns of what reactions certain brainwave states are creating within your being, I always love to share these because I feel like they sum up so well what we are trying to create for ourselves with our inner retreat evenings…
Alpha brainwaves are dominant during quietly flowing thoughts, and in some meditative states. Alpha is 'the power of now', being here, in the present. Alpha is the resting state for the brain. Alpha waves aid overall mental coordination, calmness, alertness, mind/body integration and learning.
Theta brainwaves occur most often in sleep but are also dominant in deep meditation. Theta is our gateway to learning, memory, and intuition. In theta, our senses are withdrawn from the external world and focused on signals originating from within.
