Ashtanga Second Series Workshop // Saturday 12th October: 11:30 - 13:30
Its been a good long while since I've done a workshop like this but I feel like October is the perfect time of the year for Indoor activities and putting a little pep in our step with new learnings and experimentations.
This will be a workshop focussed on the Ashtanga Second Series but we won't be taking the whole practise, simply selecting out some of the interesting postures to have a play around with. An important thing to note and perhaps a misconception to dispel is that second series is harder than primary series. In lots of ways this isn't true and you may actually be surprised to find that your body prefers lots of the postures from second series or that perhaps you are naturally pre disposed to postures from second series in a way that you might not be to postures from primary. In any case as I say we won't be taking the whole of the series anyway. I want to make this really accessible to anyone who feels like joining obviously having an amount of experience with primary series will be helpful but by no means do you need to feel like an expert or feel as if you have 'completed' primary to come along and join in.
The workshop is going to be 2 hours in length but we won't be going hell for leather the whole time there will be lots of time to rest (I don't want anyone to be scared off hehe)
£25 per person - Spaces limited due to the size of the studio and the fact I like to be able to give everyone personal attention (should they want it) with these sessions.
Any questions feel free to get in touch!
