An extended practice surrounding the theme of safe development of strength, with our yoga practice in mind.

A couple of hours of experimentation with strength and conditioning drills aimed at different parts of the body to build up our strength and tackle some of the more challenging aspects of our practice. This will be a really fun workshop, great for those who have a dedicated yoga practice but equally good for anyone who just fancies a one off session of exercises and drills to build a bit of fire in the body on a Saturday morning.

This workshop will be similar to a couple of sessions that I have done previously which ended up being really well received and I think very beneficial for the yogis who attended. With the best of intentions we all wish we could run ourselves through these drills that we know are so good for us but we often find it difficult to do so on our own. It’s much easier with the camaraderie of a group to apply ourselves and come away really feeling that we have worked the body super well!

This is also the perfect space to be able to take a look at any particular postures that you might personally want to learn or work on. We will have lots of time to talk / play around with different postures and I am able to break down in more detail anything that anyone wants to work on, in a way that is not often possible in open classes. Places are limited to suit the space we will be practicing in and also to ensure that I can give you all a more individual type of attention.
